Praying the Promises of God is a powerful way to activate your faith and prayer life.
The promises of God are Yes and Amen according to Paul in 2 Corinthians 1:20 20For all the promises of God are Yes in Christ. And so through Him, our Amen is spoken to the glory of God.
With this truth, we know that God is committed to His promises because He has exalted His word even above His name according to Psalm 138:2. Cleary He has said in His word that He is not a man that He should lie.
I have divided this promise into 10 categories as follows
Categories of God’s promises in the Bible
- Protection and Security
- Deliverance & Healing
- Comfort and Rest
- Life and After Life
God’s Promises of Protection & Security
My favorite verse in the entire bible is Psalm 127:1-2, it reminds me that whatever I do is nothing unless God is involved. It gives me comfort knowing that God wants to be involved in my life.
We live in a world that forces us to think about security and protection every single day. We are afraid to lose our jobs, our loved ones, or even to lose control of our lives.
I love that God has given us a solution in His word, we need to rely upon and hold on to His promises of protection and security because we know God is faithful to His word.
These are some of the scripture that talks about protection and security that we can hold on to. There is no need to be afraid when God has said that He will take care of us.
